The Super Bowl trailer for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has sent shockwaves through the MCU fandom, and for good reason.
Aside from teasing an absolutely wild ride in the multiverse, there were also 2 major cameos which folks are freaking out over. Admittedly, neither of them is terribly clear in the footage we see, but you can take a look in the gallery below for some screengrabs of both of them.

In case you couldn’t figure it out from the trailer, the first surprise appearance is from none other than Patrick Stewart returning as Professor X, with the voice we hear making it clear it’s him. The second, meanwhile, is most likely Captain Marvel. Or at least, a version of the hero, with rumors suggesting it could be Maria Rambeau.
We’ll find out for certain who it is, though, when Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness arrives on May 6th.
