The MCU is about to welcome a new hero in the form of Ms. Marvel and so far, at least, it looks as if she’ll be fitting into things quite comfortably.
That’s right, the first reactions have begun to trickle out onto social media today and critics seems mostly impressed with the franchise’s latest effort. It may not be a perfect series or reach the same heights as something like Loki, but it appears to be an enjoyable outing nonetheless.
See for yourself below what folks are saying:
I watched the first 2 episodes of #MsMarvel. It's so closely linked to the #MCU, yet unbelievably different from what they typically put out. It's creative, whimsical and the truest depiction of teenaged life in the shared universe.#MarvelStudios @FandomWire @CinemaStubs pic.twitter.com/HU83bLt0Wh

Had a chance to watch #MsMarvel Ep 1-2 for @FandomWire! While it seems targeted at a younger audience, it's charming & enjoyable so far. Characters are relatable. There isn't much action yet, but its lead's charisma keeps things flowing. Interested to see what happens next!

#MsMarvel thoughts:
– Iman is fantastic. She's relatable, likable, funny, everything you would want in Kamala.
– Jersey City feels alive in a way that no other location in the MCU has been. Has life similar to the NYC in Raimi's Spider-Man movies.— Jack McBryan (@McBDirect) May 25, 2022
#MsMarvel’s first two episodes proved my hesitations wrong.
Iman Vellani is perfect for the role, and does a phenomenal job. She’ll quickly become an MCU favorite.
Her chemistry with Matt Lintz’ Bruno is also top notch.
So far, the series is great.

#MsMarvel is a delight! Many familiar coming-of-age tropes but executed w/ that Feige flair. Adore the stylistic choices, one of the more innovative MCU projects. And yes, Iman Vellani was born to play Kamala Khan. Not a game-changer, but you’ll walk away smiling. @MCU_Direct pic.twitter.com/glU7S5jNwp

The MCU in 2022 has been very dramatic and mysterious. Two episodes into #MsMarvel… a breath of fresh air!
It’s classic yet modern and charming as hell. Iman Villani as Kamala is the truth. Another home run casting.
I’m a sucker for a good high school series.@MCU_Direct

#MsMarvel is so much fun! A lot of it is slice-of-life based (nice to get the perspective of how regular people in the MCU view the superheroics going on around them). The question of how so many people know what happened in the Endgame final battle is also answered. 😆
