The first episode of Hawkeye was full of MCU-related references and callbacks, but it seems not everything made the final cut.
In fact, according to writer Tanner Bean, they almost included a hilarious Avengers: Endgame Easter Egg, and here’s what it was:
“For the black-market auction, I rewatched the final battle of Endgame to find other artifacts that could’ve also been found in the rubble of the #Avengers Compound. My idea: the “La Cucaracha”-playing steering wheel horn from Luis’ van. (Hey, they can’t all be winners).”
While that would’ve been fun to fans to spot in Hawkeye, it’s probably for the best that they didn’t stuff too many artifacts in there. That being said, we imagine there’ll be a lot more Easter Eggs to pick up on as the show continues over the next few weeks, so keep those eyes peeled.
