Hawkeye may not’ve been a record breaker for Disney Plus in terms of viewing figures, but it did indeed help set a new record in another department. And that’s because according to ScreenRant, the series is the single bloodiest MCU release ever, with the on-screen kill count coming in between 50 and 55 bodies in total.
For comparison’s sake, Iron Man is often considered to be one of the franchise’s bloodiest efforts as Tony Stark takes out around 35 people on screen. And even if you want to look at the Winter Soldier, his kill count is 45, but that’s accounting for all of his MCU appearances.
So, maybe not the record Disney was aiming for, then, but a record nonetheless that Hawkeye can call its own.
