Hawkeye costume designer Michael Crow has revealed a neat little Black Widow Easter Egg that everyone missed.

The hidden Easter Eggs in Hawkeye just keep on coming.

Costume designer Michael Crow recently sat down for an interview to discuss Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova, who returned in the Disney Plus series. And it turns out that one particular part of her outfit featured a sneaky nod to Black Widow.

As you can see in the gallery below, in Episode 5 Yelena is seen wearing a coat with a black widow spider pin, which is obviously a nod to the aforementioned heroine.

Crow explains that it was “another carryover from her costume from the end of Black Widow since the character had lots of enamel pins.”

“It was another carryover from her costume from the end of ‘Black Widow’ that she had lots of enamel pins,” he said. “One of them is sort of a finger gun, which was the name of a production company for Hawkeye. That’s also something that Florence really liked because it’s something that Yelena does in ‘Black Widow’ a couple of times. She thought it was a cool reference to Yelena and I thought it was a fun nod to our production company.”

Hawkeye is now streaming on Disney Plus.
