While it wasn’t a giant hit in terms of numbers for Marvel, nor was it their best small screen effort in terms of quality, Hawkeye has still managed to make MCU history.
That’s because it offers up the longest post-credits scene of any production in the cinematic universe, coming in at a whopping 4 minutes and 32 seconds. And while it was probably one of the weaker post-credits scenes that we’ve been treated to, it still managed to clinch the record.
Given that it served no real purpose to the overall story, many people didn’t like Hawkeye‘s post-credits scene, but it is what it is and it’s unlikely that the show’s record will be broken anytime soon.
