Marvel Studios had a perfect chance to replace Thanos as the MCU’s big bad but unfortunately, they blew it.
Or at least, it seems like they blew it. And that’s because after bringing Kingpin back into the picture during the Hawkeye finale, they went ahead and killed him off at the end of the episode.
Undoubtedly, he’s one of the best villains that the studio has at their disposal and would’ve been the perfect candidate to become the franchise’s next major threat. Of course, there’s a chance that he’s not really dead and may return at some point down the road, but if not, it seems like they truly wasted their chance to replace Thanos and you can continue reading below for why Kingpin should’ve been the next big bad.
