With the Emmy submissions now having been revealed, we know which episode of Marvel has chosen to represent What If…?, and it just so happens to be the best of the bunch.
Yes, the installment selected by the studio is “What If… Doctor Strange Lost His Heart Instead of His Hands?” For those who may’ve forgotten, it saw Stephen Strange “lose Christine Palmer instead of his hands like in the MCU movie. Despite trying as hard as he can to reverse it, he can’t and instead dooms his entire reality.”
It’s a poignant, emotional ride and a favorite amongst fans, and certainly stands a chance of doing a bit of damage at the Emmys. But even if it doesn’t, it’s still an impressive animated effort from Marvel and just one of the many highlights that What If…? brought us.
