Captain America: Civil War changed not only the MCU forever, but also superhero cinema in general.
At the time of its release, it was probably the biggest and most ambitious crossover ever attempted and was executed almost flawlessly. It still remains as one of the franchise’s best efforts and this week, it’s been storming up the Disney Plus charts.
Jumping a whopping 16 places since yesterday, it’s now the 22nd most-watched film on the platform worldwide. Perhaps with Spider-Man: No Way Home quickly approaching, fans are looking to revisit the hero’s first proper MCU appearance. But whatever the cause for its spark in popularity on Disney Plus may be, we’re just happy to see it getting so much attention again.
