Moon Knight is headed to our screens in 2022 and it’s looking like it’ll set up not 1, but 2 classic Marvel horror teams.
Yes, the Oscar Isaac-starring show will be with us at some point next year and while we don’t know a whole lot about the project just yet, it certainly brings some exciting possibilities with it. Not only for the titular hero himself, but also for a few others.
The two teams in question that may be introduced are the Midnight Sons and Marvel’s Legion of Monsters. The former typically deals with supernatural threats and aside from Moon Knight has included, Blade, Ghost Rider, the Hellstrom siblings and many more. And with Blade already confirmed to be joining the MCU, and Ghost Rider probably on the way, too, it’s very likely that this group is about to take shape.

The Legion of Monsters, meanwhile, is a monster-based group that’s seen “the Living Mummy, Elsa Bloodstone, Frankenstein, Man-Thing, Morbius, Werewolf by Night, Manphibian, Queen Shiklah, and Simon Garth, Marvel’s original Zombie,” on its roster. We already know that Werwolf by Night rumored to be debuting in Moon Knight, and with the titular hero rooted in Egyptian Mythology, we might just get a tease for the Living Mummy as well.
As such, there are 2 exciting superhero teams that the upcoming Disney Plus series has a chance to introduce, and we can’t wait to see if either of them end up forming in the MCU in the near future.
