We first met the Guardians of the Mutliverse back in What If…?, where they assembled to protect the MCU and its many realities. But what if they were ultimately defeated and that’s why they don’t seem to have any sort of role in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness?
That’s what this new theory suggests, at least.
