Percy Jackson Creator Says Everything’s Going Well On The Disney Plus Show

Percy Jackson creator Rick Riordan has provided another vague update on the Disney Plus show, but promises it’s coming along.

Percy Jackson is coming to Disney Plus, and while there’s frustratingly little when it comes to concrete info about the new series, creator Rick Riordan is back with another update.

Vague as always, the author promised that things are still moving along and seems hopeful about the project. Here’s what he shared:

Not much I can report since last time, but everything is good and we are working furiously. As I said before, we are working to finish the first four scripts for PJOTV by the New Year, which we anticipate will be our final hurdle before an official green light. That hasn’t changed. We’re on track and everyone is happy with the progress, but it’s unlikely you will hear any other big news from me about PJOTV until the start of 2022. That doesn’t mean things aren’t cooking along nicely behind the scenes, though…

If Riordan’s timeline holds up, hopefully we’ll get to see the Percy Jackson show by end of 2022, or early 2023. Stay tuned.
