Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings star Meng’er Zhang has revealed that she’d be down to star in a Disney Plus show for her character Xialing.
Speaking to Decider, the actress said:
“I also read a lot of comments and posts that people are asking for a Disney+ show for Xialing and, I mean, I don’t know anything yet and I can’t speak for Marvel, but you know, I’m down. I think that’s really a good idea. I want one too! Because I just feel like Xialing is a complex character that she has so much for us to explore.”
Of course, Xialing emerged from Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings as a real fan favorite and with recent rumors of a TV series about her being in development continuing to spread, it looks like the actress may get her wish.
