The Book of Boba Fett brought us its best episode yet today with an outing dedicated entirely to the Mandalorian. Yes, Pedro Pascal’s beloved character stepped into the spotlight for the full installment and Boba didn’t even appear once.
It was a thrilling chapter of the show that also planted some seeds for The Mandalorian Season 3. Not only that, but there was a Last Jedi reference that the team snuck in which you may’ve missed.

It comes when Peli tells Mando that she’ll make the ship she’s working on go faster than a fatheir. As Looper points out, these are the horse-like creatures seen in the aforementioned Star Wars movie. The ones who “help Finn (John Boyega) and Rose (Kelly Marie Tran) escape from the prison on Canto Bight.”
Of course, we wouldn’t expect to see them appear in the flesh in The Book of Boba Fett, but it was a nice reference for fans to pick up on regardless.
