The Book of Boba Fett delivered a hugely exciting chapter with Episode 5, as Pedro Pascal’s Mando entered the picture, with the entire thing devoted to him and to setting the stage for The Mandalorian Season 3.
Indeed, it dropped a number of hints for where the hero is headed next, while also teasing a handful of exciting new developments. But amidst all that, you may’ve missed a reference to The Phantom Menace that was snuck in.

Of course, there’s the appearance of an N1 Starfighter, which was seen in the aforementioned film, but there was another callback as well, and it comes when Din tests out the ship and returns to Peli. She asks how it flew and he says, “wizard.”
As you may know, that’s an adjective which was used by one of Anakin’s friends on Tatooine in Episode I, when they say: “This is so wizard, Ani!” It’s a small reference and not hugely significant, but it’s yet another fun nod for fans to pick up on in The Book of Boba Fett.
