Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is sure to have a number of connections to Loki, but the portals that the Time Variance Authority uses to travel through space and time probably won’t be one of them.
If you recall, in the first trailer for the upcoming sequel, we saw Wanda using her powers in front of a glowing yellow opening which strongly resembled the aforementioned portals, leading fans to think they’d be seeing them used again in the movie. But the recent Super Bowl preview for Multiverse of Madness seems to debunk that, as it appears that the Scarlet Witch is actually fighting in the halls of the Illuminati headquarters.

So, there goes that. But fear not, for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will still have plenty of ties to the aforementioned Disney Plus show. In fact, the God of Mischief himself may even show up.
