Disney pulled the lid back on Obi-Wan Kenobi a little bit this week when they revealed the release date for the show as well as the first poster. And it turns out that the latter has a rather tragic Easter Egg.
As you can see below, The Direct has pointed out that the lightsaber in Obi-Wan’s right hand appears to be the one that belonged to Anakin in Revenge of the Sith. Obviously, this particular weapon represents a lot of pain for the hero, no doubt reminding him of what he lost.

It’s safe to assume that Ewan McGregor’s titular character still has a huge amount of guilt over what happened to his apprentice and his fall to the Dark Side, and we’re excited to see how that plays out in Obi-Wan Kenobi.
