The Book of Boba Fett returned to Disney Plus with Episode 2 today and introduced a few new characters that have fans buzzing. And chief among them is a black-furred Wookiee named Black Krrsantan.
For those who may not recognize him, he’s from the Star Wars comics and ComicBook.com describes him as:
“A disgraced Wookiee who fled his home planet of Kashyyyk. His violent ways eventually led him to volunteer for cybernetic enhancement and brutal training as a “gladiator” fighter by the infamous Xonti Brothers. After surviving his training, Krrsantan became one of the galaxy’s most feared and infamous bounty hunters, often working alongside (or against) Jabba the Hutt, Han Solo, and Boba Fett.”

Since debuting, he’s become a favorite among comic book readers and many are thrilled to see him in live-action at long last. Not to mention that it signals that Lucasfilm is keen to bring more familiar faces from the comics into their shows and movies.
