One of the most iconic things about Darth Vader is his voice, and his return in Obi-Wan Kenobi Episode 3 has fans wondering who it is that’s bringing him to life in the new show.
Well, if the voice sounded familiar to you that’s because it belongs to long-time Vader actor James Earl Jones. Of course, it was previously speculated that the role may be given to someone else and there was no confirmation that Jones would be back. But we can now tell you that it’s indeed him, with the credits of Episode 3 confirming it.
It’s also interesting to note that Respeecher, the same company who helped recreate Luke’s voice in The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett, did the same thing in Obi-Wan Kenobi for Vader, resulting in a thrilling return for the iconic villain.
