Why That Huge Cameo In The Book Of Boba Fett Means More Than You Think

The Book of Boba Fett featured a surprising cameo in Episode 3, and here’s why it means more than you might think.

The Book of Boba Fett returned with Episode 3 today and featured a surprising cameo from none other than Danny Trejo, playing the handler of a brand new Rancor monster that Fett receives as a gift. And as great as it was to see him show up, it’s likely that this cameo has a bit of a deeper meaning than you’d think.

As Looper points out, Trejo and Robert Rodriguez, who directed the episode, have a long history of working together. In fact, they’re actually second cousins and often collaborate on projects. So, it’s most likely due to Rodriguez’s involvement in The Book of Boba Fett that we got to see Danny Trejo turn up for a cameo. After all, he’s not really the sort of actor you’d expect to appear in the Star Wars franchise.
