The Season 2 premiere of “Loki” has had an impressive start, drawing in a substantial viewership within its initial three days of release.
As reported by Disney, the second season launch of the popular Marvel Studios series garnered 10.9 million views during its first three days of availability, marking its premiere on October 5th. To gauge viewership, both Disney and Netflix now employ a metric that defines a view as the total amount of time a show or movie is streamed, divided by its runtime.
Streaming platforms have been gradually unveiling more comprehensive viewership data for their content. In a recent announcement, Disney disclosed that the film “Elemental” had attracted an audience of 26.4 million during its initial five days on Disney+. Additionally, the live-action adaptation of “The Little Mermaid” secured 16 million views within the same timeframe. Notably, the live-action “Star Wars” series, “Ahsoka,” generated an impressive 14 million views in its first five days when it premiered back in August.
It’s good to see that the talented actors are enjoying their time on set.
