DC fans checking out Birds of Prey on HBO Max recently have noticed something pretty surprising: it’s a censored version of the film, with the language and violence toned down. In fact, it’s apparently the TV edit of the movie, which has a TV-14 rating.

Whether this is a mistake or not is unclear, as the platform hasn’t addressed it yet, but it certainly seems possible as there’d be no real reason for them to show a cleaner version of the Margot Robbie-led picture. Neither would it be the first time that a streamer has uploaded the wrong cut of a movie by accident.
