It sounds like Warner Bros. execs are pleased with Colin Farrell’s performance as The Penguin in The Batman, as Variety brings word that he’ll be reprising the role in an HBO Max spinoff!
As the outlet notes, they initially reported on the series back in the Fall, but this is the first time we’ve had confirmation on Farrell’s involvement in it, as he wasn’t officially attached then.
Lauren LeFranc is on board to write the script for The Batman spinoff series, while Matt Reeves and Dylan Clark will executive produce.
