There’s been a popular fan theory going around ever since The Suicide Squad released that says Nathan Fillion’s T.D.K. (The Detachable Kid) actually survived the massacre that befell the team in the first 20 minutes of the pic. And now, director James Gunn has confirmed that.
Over on Twitter, a fan asked the filmmaker if the character might still be alive and Gunn was more than happy to say that he was.
“#TDK was definitely alive last we saw him. #TheSuicideSquad,” wrote the director.
Of course, some may already know that Gunn confirmed this on the Blu-ray commentary track as well for The Suicide Squad, but for those of us who didn’t catch that, it’s nice to finally have this out in the open.
