Peacemaker hit HBO Max this week and gave DC fans a lot to discuss. Not to mention it kept them thoroughly entertained throughout the first 3 episodes, too.
One thing in particular, though, that’s emerged as a big talking point is that the show seemingly confirms that obscure comic book character Bat-Mite exists in the DCEU. And sure enough, James Gunn has taken to Instagram to reaffirm that yes, Bat-Mite is indeed canon in the franchise now.
Posting an image of the character, Gunn simply wrote: Canon. So, short and sweet and firm confirmation that Bat-Mite is a part of the DCEU thanks to Peacemaker. Now the only question is when we’ll see him show up.
