Though it touched down on HBO Max with a ton of fanfare, it seems not everyone has seen Zack Snyder’s Justice League yet. And we’re not talking about audiences, we’re talking about one of the stars of the film itself.
Ciaran Hinds, who plays Steppenwolf in the movie, recently opened up to ComicBook.com and revealed that he hasn’t watched the pic yet.
“I can’t be honest to this because I haven’t seen Zack’s version, but I should imagine Zack’s version by far because that is the story that he meant, that’s the one he planned for. He meant to have all that tangential stuff moving in so that you could understand the movement. So, when it was cut to a very short film overall, it didn’t, a lot of it didn’t make sense, but I believe I’ve heard that the people who saw Zack’s version enjoyed it a lot.”
What he’s waiting for, we don’t know, especially when this cut of the maligned superhero blockbuster is a vast improvement on the original version. But if, like Hinds, you also haven’t seen Zack Snyder’s Justice League, you can catch it on HBO Max now.
