Michael Keaton is returning as Batman and while Batgirl was unfortunately cancelled, we’ll still see him in The Flash and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.
That’s hugely exciting for fans, of course, and in a recent interview, the actor revealed the real reason that he decided to put on the cape and cowl again. And it’s fairly simple.
“It seemed like fun,” Keaton said. “[I] was curious what it would be like after this many years.”
Fair enough, and though it’s a real shame that we won’t get to see Batgirl anymore, we can at least look forward to Keaton’s Batman popping up in 2 other films in the near future.
