Rick and Morty is no stranger to odd crossovers, and now we can add another one to the list as it’s been confirmed that the show exists in the Star Trek universe.
We know this thanks to a recent episode of Star Trek: Picard, and here’s how ComicBook.com lays out the Easter Egg that makes this bizarre crossover official:
During the third episode of Picard‘s second season, we see the character, Rios, having a teleporter accident and being placed into a hospital in the year 2024. During which, a mother tells her child that they won’t be allowed to watch Rick And Morty, confirming that the Adult Swim series has exited in the past within the universe of the Starship Enterprise.
Of course, there’s no chance that we’ll ever see any character from Rick and Morty actually appear in live-action in the Star Trek universe, but this is still a welcome little Easter Egg for fans of both series all the same.
