Titans will be introducing a new character in season 5 and it’ll reportedly be Tim Drake’s boyfriend, Bernard Dowd.
Created by Bill Willingham and Rick Mays in 2004, Bernard first appeared in Robin #121. For those unfamiliar with him, he was obsessed with the heroics of Batman’s sidekick and the two of them ultimately started dating.
Of course, this is just a rumor for now and should be taken as such, but it certainly wouldn’t be surprising if this was the route that HBO Max and DC decided to take the character down in Titans.
