HBO Max’s Sex and the City revival And Just Like That… arrived this week and shockingly killed off a main character.
Understandably, the decision to do that didn’t go down particularly well with fans. But aside from that, folks seem to be enjoying this new adventure for Carrie and co. Though whether we’ll get more than just a single season remains unclear at this point.
In fact, not even HBO knows, with the network saying:
“[We] have no idea. [Parker, Nixon, and Davis] kind of came together to do this. They were all really busy and doing other things. So this is certainly a conversation we’ll have — for sure… [We’re] going to leave it up to these guys to figure out what they want to do.”
Presumably, it’ll all depend on the viewing figures it pulls in, and we won’t have a good idea of that until And Just Like That… wraps up its first season on February 3rd.
