In news that shouldn’t be too surprising, Will Smith has one of the top movies on streaming right now.
Of course, we’re talking about King Richard, the film which he won an Oscar for last night, during a ceremony in which he also slapped Chris Rock – something that sent shockwaves through the internet and is all anyone can talk about.
But circling back to the aforementioned movie, it’s currently #1 on HBO Max and features Will Smith giving what’s perhaps a career best performance as Richard Williams, father to tennis superstars Venus and Serena Williams. And while opinion is still split on the actor’s actions during the ceremony on Sunday evening, it’s safe to say that everyone agrees King Richard is a fantastic piece of work from him.
