Outside of the MCU, Chris Hemsworth hasn’t had a whole lot of success as a leading man. There’s Extraction, sure, but aside from that, most of his efforts to take center stage have failed to ignite at the box office.
One of the more enjoyable ones, though, was 12 Strong. Not a big moneymaker by any means, it was still a decent war movie that provided a thrilling story and solid performances from its cast. Following the “first Special Forces team deployed to Afghanistan after 9/11,” it’s now finding new life on streaming as over on Hulu, 12 Strong is currently the 9th most popular film today. And if you’re a fan of Chris Hemsworth, you’d be wise to give this one a shot.
