Joey King is dominating streaming once again but instead of her usual home at Netflix, she’s making waves over on Hulu with The Princess, her new film which debuted on July 1st.
Plot-wise, it follows a “strong-willed princess who refuses to wed a cruel sociopath and is kidnapped and locked in a remote tower of her father’s castle. With her vindictive suitor intent on taking her father’s throne, the princess must save the kingdom.” And if you’ve seen it already, you’ll know that it’s a whole lot of fun.
Indeed, Hulu subscribers have been hooked, with The Princess sitting at #1 on the most-watched movies chart for almost the entire month now. Even over on Disney Plus, where it’s available in certain international territories, it’s pulling in some impressive numbers as well and resulting in Joey King having one of the biggest flicks on streaming right now.
