The writers behind Hulu‘s Hit-Monkey were hoping to have Bullseye appear in the new animated series, but apparently Marvel Studios had other ideas.
Speaking in a recent interview, writers Will Speck and Josh Gordon recall how they were offered Lady Bullseye instead, which they were still happy with.
“Bullseye was in the original issues of Hit-Monkey and that was who we originally thought we would use but for various reasons, we couldn’t. But Marvel offered us Lady Bullseye instead and we thought, ‘Wow. That’s so much more interesting since she’s a character we haven’t seen much of yet.’ We were thrilled that we got that pivot.”
Look for Hit-Monkey to blast its way onto Hulu tomorrow, November 17th.
