Pam & Tommy began streaming on Hulu this week and as expected, it’s got a fair bit of nudity. But then again, what did you expect from a show about Tommy Lee and Pamela Anderson’s relationship? And sure enough, both stars had to don prosthetics for their roles.
For one, Lily James took 4 hours every day to transform herself into Pamela, even having to wear a chest attachment to get the same body as the Baywatch actress. Suffice it to say, though, it paid off, as she looks exactly like her in the show.
As for Sebastian Stan, who plays Lee, he’s also got a prosthetic on for the scenes where he talks to his penis. In fact, the team “used a pretty high-tech piece of animatronic machinery that required four people to operate.” Yes, really.
