A great Jon Bernthal movie is making an impressive showing on Netflix today, as the hard-hitting drama climbs up the most-watched chart.
We’re talking about Sicario, the intense, nail-biting and brutal film focused on an “idealistic FBI agent who’s enlisted by a government task force to aid in the escalating war against drugs at the border area between the U.S. and Mexico.” Bernthal doesn’t have a lead role in it, instead letting Emily Blunt, Josh Brolin and Benicio del Toro take the main parts, but he does solid work all the same as a police officer.
In regards to its performance on Netflix, it’s currently the platform’s 28th most-watched film. And while Jon Bernthal didn’t return for the sequel, Sicario: Day of the Soldado, we’d still suggest giving that one a shot as well if you enjoyed the original.
