The Matrix was revolutionary when it first hit cinemas in 1999 and even today, it still holds up remarkably well. Its stunts, action, effects and plot remain just as fresh as they were all those years ago. So perhaps it’s no surprise that it’s now gunning for Netflix success.
According to FlixPatrol, the sci-fi epic is currently sitting in 33rd place on the most-watched list worldwide, having jumped quite a few spots over the past few days. Obviously, a lot of this is to do with the fact that The Matrix Resurrections is quickly approaching and folks want to catch up before it releases. But that aside, like we said above, The Matrix is still a fantastic watch and Netflix subscribers clearly agree.
