Likely due to the massive success of Red Notice, another Ryan Reynolds movie is now starting to race onto the Netflix charts.
6 Underground released back in 2019 and like most Michael Bay movies, is an over the top action flick with some outrageous stunts and set pieces. Following a “vigilante team who try to stage a coup d’état against a ruthless dictator,” it’s a thrilling ride – even if it suffers in the writing and character development departments – and it seems it’s now making another play for Netflix users’ time.
As of today, the Ryan Reynolds flick has jumped up 22 spots on the most-watched list to land in 48th place. Obviously, it’s nowhere near the Top 10, which is where you’ll find Red Notice, but it’s clear that viewers are still looking for similar entertainment and 6 Underground certainly shares a lot in common with the aforementioned blockbuster.
