Iron Mask or The Iron Mask finally reached the US last year after a bumpy journey to release.
It first hit China in 2019, before arriving in the UK in the spring of 2020. Following that, the fantasy adventure flick starring Arnold Schwarzenegger was released on demand and on DVD in the United States in November 2020. Suffice it to say, the rocky road it travelled led to a lot of people missing out on it, but now that it’s on Netflix, it’s finally getting some recognition.
Over on the world’s biggest streaming site, Iron Mask is the 75th most-watched film. And with Jackie Chan also appearing in the production, you can see why it’s got some major international appeal. That being said, it’s far from a great movie and probably won’t leave much of an impression after the credits roll, but for some perfectly harmless entertainment for a few hours, it might be worth checking out on Netflix.
