The story revolves around the unsolved murder of a police captain, which leaves Miami’s Tactical Narcotics Team frustrated as they try to find justice. While investigating a possible drug cartel stash, they stumble upon millions of dollars in cash, leading to internal conflicts and trust issues within the team. As the situation escalates, outside forces get involved, raising questions about loyalty and motives.

Damon and Affleck are starring in the film together for the eleventh time. The supporting cast, which has been announced over the months of October, November, and December, includes Sasha Calle, Teyana Taylor, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Scott Adkins, Nestor Carbonell, Lina Esco, Steven Yeun, Kyle Chandler, Shawn Michael, and Chris Silvestri. Lina Esco will play Captain Jackie Velez.

Cast members have been posting behind-the-scenes photos from the filming process on social media. For example, Teyana Taylor shared some pictures of herself in a police uniform in early November. Reports say that some cast members finished filming by early December. Currently, RIP is listed as “Filming Ongoing,” and it is expected to move into post-production after filming wraps up as planned.
