Netflix users love Kevin Hart, that much we know from some of his previous efforts for the streamer. And that’s proving true once more with his latest project.
True Story is a new limited series starring Hart alongside Wesley Snipes as two brothers who get in over their head when one of them winds up in a sticky situation. To say anything more would spoil it, but suffice it to say, even despite the not so great reviews, Netflix users can’t get enough.
Indeed, True Story is now the #1 title on the platform in the US – and that’s counting both movies and television shows. It’s far from perfect, but Kevin Hart is always an entertaining screen presence and this is the sort of easily digestible material that can go down nicely in one or two bingeing sessions.
