Will Alfie return in Emily in Paris Season 3? That’s the question on everyone’s mind following the news of the show’s renewal.
Unfortunately, it isn’t confirmed yet whether or not he’ll be back, but actor Lucien Laviscount has hinted that he won’t be seen again on the series. Taking to Instagram to comment on the renewal announcement, he said: “Emily In Paris SEASON 3 & SEASON 4. Can’t wait to see you all shine.”
On the surface, that’s innocent enough, but as Netflix Life points out:
Why did he say, “Can’t wait to see you all shine?” If he was going to be in seasons 3 and 4, wouldn’t he have said something like “Can’t wait to be back” or “Can’t wait to see us all shine” or just anything that includes him? His wording makes it seem like we won’t be seeing his character in future seasons.
They certainly make a good point, but until Netflix confirms or denies it, we’ll just have to sit tight and speculate on whether or not Emily in Paris will bring back Alfie.
