Money Heist was one of the biggest shows Netflix had ever seen, so when a Korean spinoff was announced it didn’t exactly surprise anyone that the platform was doing more with the brand. In fact, it’s actually just 1 of 2 spinoffs, with the other one focusing on Berlin.
The Korean effort, though, is titled Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area, and despite its mouthful of a moniker, it looks like a fun ride, set in the same fictional universe as the original.
