Lily Collins has a new move on Netflix this week and so far, subscribers seem to be loving it.
Titled Windfall, it also stars Jesse Plemons and Jason Segel and while critics haven’t been too kind to the pic, as it only has a 56% on Rotten Tomatoes, subscribers on the platform apparently have no issues with it and have taken to Twitter to show their love.
See below for just a sample of the reactions currently circulating:
#Windfall gives fresh take on a genre that's been dominating screens for decades now. It's a well-crafted Hitchcockian thriller with smart social commentary and amazing performances.

#Windfall is a claustrophobic, psychological thriller, with a phenomenal score that'll have you grinding your teeth.@Charliemcdowell had fun with this one! Jesse Plemons, @LilyCollins, and @JasonSegel – were all so damn good.

[27] 'WINDFALL' (2022)
Found this home invasion film that also kinda stands as an allegorical tale about class divide very interesting. Simplistic yet properly executed especially Lily Collins' performance and that satisfying last shot. pic.twitter.com/phZK5682Im

WINDFALL
An exciting throwback to Hitchcockian 60’s style filmmaking. A claustrophobic battle of the minds. Three very strong performances (Lily Collins rules). Paced out to keep you guessing even if it subverts big expectations. An anxiety inducing score keeps you on your toes pic.twitter.com/wnURXvxHA4— Anthony @ #SXSW2022 (@AnAntLife) March 18, 2022
windfall was absolutely incredible and that ending…..I audibly gasped 🤯🤯🤯 congrats!!!! @lilycollins @charliemcdowell

#Windfall is quite the welcomed surprise. A stripped-down, dialogue heavy thriller,
that includes great work from Jason Segel and Lily Collins – who get to play against type. And then you have Jesse Plemons chewing away every scene as a CEO douchebag. It’s simple, yet well done. pic.twitter.com/VbVY19zdJA— Fico (@FicoCangiano) March 18, 2022
Just watched windfall, it’s a good movie. Also happy birthday Lily Collins

For those unfamiliar, Windfall follows “a man who breaks into a tech billionaire’s empty vacation home, but things go sideways when the arrogant mogul and his wife arrive for a last-minute getaway,” and it’s now streaming for your viewing pleasure on Netflix.
