Netflix has another new South Korean series available now and it’s already a big hit.
The Silent Sea is a sci-fi thriller starring Bae Doona, Gong Yoo and Lee Joo, and after landing on the platform on Friday, it’s now reached #3 on the most-watched TV shows worldwide list. If you’re unfamiliar with it, here’s the synopsis:
During a perilous 24-hour mission on the moon, space explorers try to retrieve samples from an abandoned research facility steeped in classified secrets.
So far, The Silent Sea has been getting solid reviews from critics and while it might not be the next Squid Game or even Hellbound, it’s still great to see Netflix delivering so many quality hits from South Korea lately.
