Netflix kicked off April with a ton of new releases and among them was one of the worst things to ever come out of Marvel as far as movies go.
Specifically, we’re talking about Blade: Trinity, which quite frankly is a bit of a disaster. Co-starring Ryan Reynolds and Jessica Biel, it’s only got a 25% on Rotten Tomatoes and was trashed by critics for being all style and no substance. And that’s an assessment we’d agree with.
Of course, the original Blade and even its sequel are a lot of fun and solid superhero outings. But unfortunately, Trinity sent the trilogy out with a whimper rather than a bang. That isn’t deterring Netflix users, though, as the flick is currently sitting at #5 on the most-watched list in the US, which isn’t too bad of a performance for a film that didn’t go down very well upon its release.
