Julia Garner is having a big 2022 so far over on Netflix.
We first saw her this year in Ozark when the first part of Season 4 dropped on the platform last month and rocketed to the top of the most-watched list. It didn’t last long, though, but Garner’s now back with another #1 hit on the streaming service, as Inventing Anna is currently the most-watched show on Netflix.
It follows a “journalist with a lot to prove who investigates the case of Anna Delvey, the Instagram-legendary German heiress who stole the hearts of New York’s social scene – and stole their money as well.” With a 58% on Rotten Tomatoes, it hasn’t exactly been a critical hit, but Inventing Anna is still exactly the sort of juicy entertainment that Netflix users typically flock to. As evidenced by its dominance on the charts this week.
