Sex Education just lost one of its most beloved stars, with Simone Ashley exiting and confirming that she won’t be back for Season 4.
Having joined Bridgerton recently, it seems she’s choosing to focus on that series instead, as when she was asked about whether or not she’ll return for more Sex Education in an interview, she said: “No, I’m a Bridgerton girl now.”
That’s not terribly surprising, given that she has one of the lead roles in the period drama and it’s a role that catapulted her to a whole new level of fame. Not to mention she’s terrific in the show, too. But still, Sex Education fans will no doubt be saddened that they’ve seen the last of her on the series now.
