All good things come to an end, and that includes Netflix’s Sex Education.
The hit series has given us 3 incredible seasons so far and will soon bring us a fourth, but the end may already be in sight. At least, that’s according to Aimée Lou Wood, who plays Aimee on the show.
Speaking in a recent interview, the actress admitted that things will need to wrap up soon simply because the cast is getting too old, saying:
“We’re going to have to because I’m fast approaching 30. We could go to uni, I guess, but I don’t particularly want to be playing a fresher when I’m 45. It’s going to have to come to an end, which is sad, but also I feel like you should always leave them wanting more. Always end on a high instead of having people go, ‘I really wish they would stop.'”
Sex Education will return to Netflix with Season 4 later this year or in early 2023.
