As you may know, the Matt Murdock we see in the pic is played by Charlie Cox, who initially portrayed the role over on Netflix in the streamer’s Daredevil series. Unfortunately, that show was cancelled, but it was a massive hit amongst fans and they’ve long demanded that Marvel bring Cox back and have him play the MCU’s version of the hero.
Now, that’s seemingly happened, as the actor appears in Spider-Man: No Way Home as Mr. Murdock. The only thing that’s still a bit unclear is what this means for the continuity established in Netflix’s show and how much of it – if any – will be carried over. Again, it’s just 1 brief scene and we don’t get any a whole lot of background on the character. But whether it’s the same Daredevil, a new one or a soft reboot of the hero, the important thing is is that Charlie Cox is officially the MCU’s Matt Murdock, and how exciting is that?
